Michal joined BLOG in June 1998, where he was in the chorus of Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady, and also appeared in Songs from the Shows. After the usual school and church choir interests as a child, Michal was in several school productions of Gilbert and Sullivan, appearing as the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance.

It was not until 1998 that his interest was rekindled, after watching a production of Songs from the Shows at the Pump Rooms in Bath, and he decided that he must join the group. He is also a member of Weston Harmony and works for the Royal Mail as a Delivery Office Manager.
